LGM Products Operations Director Wins Business Manager of the Year 2023 at Women In Fire Safety Awards
The Women In Fire Safety Awards was established in 2021 to honour and promote the vital, and often unseen, work women do within the fire safety industry.
In their own words ‘We strive to address the historical gender imbalance and champion for a more progressive industry. That is why, as an organisation, our aim is to continuously motivate and promote women who exceptionally improve fire safety standards.’
Now in their third year the awards were held at a gala reception and dinner at the Leonardo Hotel in London on the 28th September 2023.
LGM was delighted to learn that Sophie Mogford-Revess was shortlisted for the award of ‘Business Manager of the Year‘.
‘Just to be nominated, let alone shortlisted, was a great honour’ said Sophie Mogford-Revess, ‘It was so special to celebrate remarkable women from across the industry and it was such an honour to win the Business Manager of the Year Award!’
Sophie was recognised for her role in LGM’s continued business growth within the fire detection market, especially in male dominated areas such as marine and hazardous area markets. She was also commended for establishing LGM’s pathway to net-zero and the work undertook to move the business earlier this year.
LGM was pleased to support the awards and host a table of international and influentual women from across our industry.
