FFE Ltd, the leading manufacturer of flame and beam smoke detectors, has launched their latest innovation the Fireray Hub Reflective.
The Hub Reflective builds on the market leading Fireray One technology to offer users extended functionality, easier installation and lower on-going maintenance costs.
Hub Reflective users will benefit from the advanced low-level controller which offers simple commissioning as well as fire and fault time stamped data logs. This allows site owners to track alarm events and, where possible, take mitigating action, therefore avoid ongoing false alarms.
The controller has been designed and developed with site managers in mind and now incorporates a backlit LCD display for easy interface.
The Hub Reflective also presents numerous cost saving advantages.
FFE have developed the Hub Reflective to work on both network and parallel wiring models. This allows for single cable runs on new installations or to re-use existing cable runs when replacing older products.
The Hub Reflective controller communicates with up to 3 reflective detector heads. Again, reducing overall installation cost by increasing the ratio of detector heads to controllers compared to other leading brands.
Further to that, each head can now also monitor even longer distances allowing ranges of up to 120m to be covered by a single detector head.
Finally, to further reduce overall project costs the Fireray Hub Relective only requires a single person for the installation. Utilising the auto-alignment functionality means only a single person is required – just steer the laser onto the Reflector, then at the flick of a switch, it aligns itself. Making it eight times faster than previous detectors
Launching in September 2024 the Fireray Hub Reflective will initially carry EN54 approval and UL approval will be added within the coming months. Making Fireray Hub Reflective a globally approved beam detector device.
