These ATEX and IECEx approved flameproof units come with 316L stainless steel enclosures to withstand the toughest of corrosive and UV-exposed environments.
The units provide an excellent alarm solution for marine, offshore, and oil and gas applications.
The STEx signalling range includes:
- 117 and 123 dB(A) alarm horn sounders with either flared or omni-directional radial horns,
- 15 and 25 Watt PA loudspeakers
- 21, 15 and 10 Joule Xenon strobe beacons
- Rotating halogen beacons
- LED beacons
- Audio Visual combined units
The STEx units have been designed with installers in mind. They benefit from large enclosure areas which reduce installation time. Beacons and junction boxes have four M20 entries while sounders and combined units have three M20 entries.
STEx beacons also have the advantage of field replaceable colour filter lens. This revolution within hazardous area signalling allows installers to change the lens without opening the flamepath meaning alterations and maintenance can be performed on ‘live’ sites.
