The Farnham Carnival is a yearly event organised by Farnham Lions and The Hedgehogs to raise funds for local charities and schools.
The Carnival is great community event bringing the people of Farnham together to share live music, local food and drink and culminates in a parade through the town centre.
This year’s theme is Fly Me To The Moon!
Our float consisted of a 50 strong choir, some of our famous beacons and of course a rocket!
The LGM crew took to the streets alongside the choir to collect generous donations from the spectators.
It was a great atmosphere and a lot of money was raised for charity.
LGM’s float was based on the original moon landings. Dressed in highly questionable tin foil helmets, we also had a 12 foot replica rocket! We were delighted to win a gold award for the float!
Thank you to all who came and watched and participated in the parade. Hope to see you again next year!
