The LGM team will be rowing the River Thames in an outrigger canoe on the 29th of June 2018 for Scotty’s LittleSoldiers.
A little taster from our training session!
The route will be 13 km; we will be setting off from The Royal Canoe Club in Teddington, paddling to Hampton Court Bridge and then back to The Royal Canoe Club. This should take about 2 hours providing we don’t get lost or capsize!
Scotty’s Little Soldiers is a British charity dedicated to supporting children & young people who have lost a parent/parents whilst serving in the British Armed Forces.
One of our team members is an ex-serviceman who completed several tours of Afghanistan and Iraq and understands the impact losing a parent, as a result of operations, causes to family members especially children. The LGM team know and understand the magnitude of the fantastic work Scotty’s little Soldiers does for these innocent unfortunate children.
