Since 1st January 2014, any beacon installed in a fire alarm system within the EU must be approved to this new EC standard.
We supply EN54 Part 23 approved standalone beacons as well as audio visual combined units with high and low audio output. We also supply a detector base beacon to complete the range.
These new visual alarm devices also benefit from low current consumption and an unobtrusive design.
Designed to improve safety, the enforcement of the new European standard will help ensure that people with hearing impediments are able to see and respond to the activation of a fire alarm.
